The countdown is on! Our Event of the Centenary is nearly here, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night of celebration, connection, and memories. We’re pulling out all the stops – and we’re excited to welcome some very special guests on the night.

Established in 1925, Balgowlah Golf Club has been a cornerstone of the local community for a century. What began as a modest 9-hole course carved into the natural landscape of Sydney’s Northern Beaches has grown into a vibrant club known for its friendly atmosphere, challenging layout, and deep community roots.

Over the past 100 years, the club has weathered the changing times—surviving world wars, economic shifts, and major developments in the game of golf. Through it all, Balgowlah has remained true to its founding values: camaraderie, inclusivity, and a love for the game. Generations of golfers have walked our fairways, built lifelong friendships, and created memories that extend far beyond the 18th hole.

The Centenary is more than just a milestone—it’s a celebration of everything the club stands for. It’s a chance to reflect on our rich history, honour the members and volunteers who shaped the club, and look ahead to the next chapter. From early pioneers to current players, Balgowlah Golf Club has always been more than just a place to play golf—it’s a home for the local community.

As we celebrate 100 years, we invite past and present members, friends, and supporters to join us in marking this once-in-a-lifetime event. Let’s come together to honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future of Balgowlah Golf Club.

We’re transforming the venue for the occasion – with hired furniture, a stunning setup, a DJ, and there will even be a dancefloor to keep the energy going well into the night.
